The Center for Creative Life Solutions is a small but growing, outpatient mental health practice in southeastern Massachusetts. We are a progressive group practice dedicated to access to care through acceptance of most health insurance plans, trauma-informed care, and a commitment to anti-racism and LGBTQIA+ affirming practices. We are located on the Middleboro line in Lakeville, MA. We provide both in-person and telehealth counseling services, in addition to consulting services, training, forensic assessments, and immigration evaluations.
About Us
We believe healthcare, including mental health treatment, is a right, not a privilege. We accept most health insurance plans, including Masshealth, in support of our commitment to reduce barriers to mental health care.
We recognize the impact of overlapping systems of oppression, power, and privilege that marginalize individuals and communities based on social identities (gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, class, ability, age, culture, nationality, immigration status, and all social systems).
We believe in holding ourselves accountable to social change at the individual, institutional, and systemic levels in order to address these overlapping dynamics of oppression.
As an anti-racist group practice, we recognize the pervasiveness of anti-Black racism and white supremacy culture. We commit to unlearning our own inherent racism as this is foundational to becoming actively anti-racist. We reject performative allyship and seek to do the uncomfortable work of confronting our own implicit bias and behavior.
We affirm all marginalized folx in the LGBTQIA+ population, especially transgender folx, as they have become the most recent target of bigotry, vitriol, and discrimination in this country through unjust and inhumane state and national laws and policies. We commit to social action to support social equality and health equity in the LGBTQIA+ community.
